Show &Working UKC American Pit Bull Terriers AKC American Staffordshire Terriers

We are a small kennel located in sunny Southwest Florida. Our main goal is to expose the true nature of the American Pit Bull Terrier and the American Staffordshire Terrier. We are hobby breeders who's main focus is breeding dogs with sound temperaments, conformation, health, athleticism, endurance, and the ability to excel in anything you want them to do. We are aware this breed should be very athletic and able to work, never being overdone or unproportionate. We currently show our dogs in UKC and AKC conformation events as well as compete in weight pulling, obedience, rally, and dock diving, earning the necessary titles along with health and temperament testing we believe is important for breeding dogs. Our goal is to produce the best possible specimen of the breed inside and out. We do not breed often, but when we do we expect our puppies to be the best of the best in all areas. Our breedings are carefully thought out and we prefer to have a waiting list before a breeding takes place. All our dogs are raised in a family environment around children and other dogs and in no way support the cruelty of dog fighting.

This puppy has been bred by us and has been carefully and painstakingly reared. The parent animals were mated with the aim of breeding good quality and healthy puppies. Seller quarantines this dog to be free of communicable diseases as appears to the eye at time of sale. The parent animals are free of genetic diseases that may be passed on to other generations to the best of the breeders and breeders' veterinarian's knowledge. The parent dogs have been fully examined with proper testing done before the time of breeding to ensure optimum health of the puppies. These genetic diseases include, but are not limited to, hip dysplasia, demodectic mange, luxated patellas, heart defects, etc.NOTE ON HIP DYSPLASIA: Despite breeders' best efforts to breed out hip dysplasia by either OFA hip or Pennhip testing breeding stock, there is still a possibility of hip dysplasia in a puppy that came from two parents with good hips. This is because there are multiple genes responsible for this disease and is almost impossible to breed out completely. That being said, we do our best to prevent this disease by testing the parents and hope for puppies with good hips, however there is no guarantee with any puppy that they will be completely free of this disease. At the expense of the buyer, this dog should be examined by a veterinarian within 48 hours of possession to validate Health Guarantee (If purchased on Saturday, this requirement is extended to the following Monday) Should this dog be found in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attribute to the breeder, this dog may, (unless other arrangements were discussed between buyer/seller as mentioned above) be returned to seller for refund of purchase price or for another dog of equal value, the choice to be determined by seller. Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge...

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

THEN YOU CROSS RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER...

My love for the American Pit Bull Terrier began in 2004 when I rescued my first unexpectedly. He was in bad shape, very emaciated and all scarred up. He willingly jumped in my car so I took him home. From then on I was hooked. I realized what a loyal and loving dog he was and began promoting the breed any way I could. My love for this breed then grew into something more, that's when I started Eternity Kennels. I did a lot of research and learned as much about this breed as I possibly could. I then decided I would start showing them. Along the way I have met many wonderful people and have learned so much from them that I beleive I now have what it takes to contribute to the breed. I have now teamed up with a kennel partner, Laura Wells, who's knowledge and support will contribute to endless possibilities.

We select our breeding dogs very carefully. You will find that all of the dogs used in our breeding program have outstanding temperament, conformation, and health backed up by outstanding pedigrees. Our breedings are far and few between, simply because we don't beleive in quantity, but quality. We are hobby breeders, so we do not breed as a means of income. We do not breed "American Bullies", as our dogs match the AKC and UKC breed standards. Last but not least, we carefully screen all puppy buyers to ensure our dogs get the proper care and love they need whether you are looking for a show puppy or a pet. We will continue to keep in close contact with our puppy buyers and we will be available to show any puppies produced by us, as we strive to produce dogs that will be title holders.
