ANGEL - Has a home !

Meet Angel. Angel has a sad story that fortunately has a happy ending. She was thrown out of a moving truck on a very busy, 2 lane road when a friend was just a few cars behind. She immediately stopped to help the poor dog and noticed just how bad her condition was. She had obviously been faught, there were punture wounds all over her face, ears, and front legs. Despite what had just happened, she wagged her tail vigorously when my friend approached her. She quickly brought her to the animal hospital where I work, but, after taking X-Rays, we dicscovered that both back legs were broken, one was shattered. It could only be fixed by a specialist. Time seemed to stop as we tried to fugure out what to do. She was a stray, nobody could pay for her $2,500 or up surgery. We couldn't bare to put her to sleep, she continued wagging her tail the entire time. That's when the tables turned for Angel. Rainy, the hospital manager, decided to take her in and drove her to Tampa to Dr. Hay where he repaired both back legs. A week later, she was home.

Angel now lives happily ever after with 5 other dogs and 6 cats. She is not the least aggressive and still has that love for life.

Thank you all who participated in saving this dog's life, my friend Amber, Dr. Jackson, Dr. Hay and staff, and especially Rainy, who gave Angel a second chance at life.

BOSS -  Has a home !

This is Boss. Boss came to Sara as her very first pit bull. He was found abandoned near a shopping plaza weighing at about 33 lbs., very immaciated, with every bone showing. He also had several open wounds and gashes all over his body. However, he approached us wagging his tail and licking our faces. We couldn't help but to bring him home. If it weren't for Boss I probably would have never known how awesome this breed truely is.

He is obviously now very happy and healthy (now weighing 68lbs.)and lives the life of a king, spending his days in or around the pool. We coudn't ask for a better dog.

SABER - Has a home !

Saber was basically rescued from a backyard breeder. He has no papers and was basically born in the dirt in a hole in the "breeder's" yard. He unfortunately suffered from a back injury playing with another dog at about 9 weeks old. He was completely paralyzed for about 6 months. He then began to regain some feeling and is now able to walk, but feels no pain from his waist down and has no control over his bladder. We know there aren't many people who could deal with his problems.

He now lives here at Eternity Kennels as a loving pet and companion. He loves going boating and swimming. He is a lot of work, being handicapped, but the love he gives us has no price.

BOOMER - Has a home !

Boomer is a cute little pup with lots of personality. He is very sweet and lovable. He was abandoned and found by animal lovers who quickly got him the medical treatment and vaccines that he needed. He is now happy and healthy in his new home.

GINA - Has a home !

Gina was rescued from the side of the road. She was left in a box to die when some friends took her in. She was malnutritioned and infested with parasites. She now has a happy home.

MARLEY - Has a home !

We also took in another rescue, one who was given up by the owner due to living situations after being in several different households. His name is Marley and he is a chocolate with white markings. He is about 6-7 months old. After he was neutered and shots updated, he was found a loving home.

TINY - Has a home !

Tiny is a 2 year old male. He is mostly white with fawn markings and his ears have been cropped. He was rescued from his previous owners who abandoned him. Locked up in a house, he had no access to food or water. He is currently being fostered and being brought back to good health. He is UKC registered and is a possible show canidate. It has not been determined whether or not he is show quality or if he should be neutered.

VENUS - Has a home !

Venus was in the same household as Tiny. She is a 2 year old blue female and has not yet been spayed. She is also currently being fostered and brought back to health along with Tiny. Her ears have also been cropped.

Thanks to all the owners who have adopted our rescues. These dogs have gotten what they deserve, a loving home with someone who understands the true nature of this breed. Please do your part in rescueing unwanted pit bulls from local shelters or bad situations. Try to give back some of the compassion and understanding these dogs give us unconditionally everyday.
